Frequently asked questions

Can I remove negative reviews? โ–ผ
No. GhostScore does not accept payment to remove legitimate reviews. However, you can respond publicly to any review, providing your side of the story. Companies that respond constructively to negative reviews often see their GhostScore improve over time.
How are GhostScores calculated? โ–ผ
GhostScores are calculated from a weighted algorithm that factors in: response rate (how often candidates hear back), response time (how quickly), interview stage (ghosting after a final round is weighted more heavily), and employer engagement (responding to reviews improves your score).
What if reviews are fake or from competitors? โ–ผ
We use email verification, IP analysis, and language pattern detection to identify and remove fraudulent reviews. You can also flag reviews you believe are illegitimate, and our moderation team will investigate within 48 hours.
How do I earn the Responsive Employer badge? โ–ผ
Maintain a GhostScore of 70+ and respond to new reviews within 48 hours for at least 30 consecutive days. The badge is re-evaluated monthly, so consistency matters.
Can candidates see who manages our profile? โ–ผ
No. Candidates only see that the profile is "Claimed" and any public responses you make. The name and email of the profile administrator is never shared with candidates or the public.
