GhostScore exists to create transparency in hiring. These guidelines ensure reviews are fair, honest, and useful for the community.
What Makes a Good Review
Be specific. Include the interview stage you reached, how long you waited, and what communication (or lack thereof) you received.
Be honest. Report your genuine experience, even if it was positive. Companies that communicate well deserve recognition too.
Be constructive. Describe what happened. Avoid personal attacks on individual employees by name.
Be timely. Reviews are most useful when submitted within 90 days of the experience.
What's Not Allowed
Reviews based on experiences you did not personally have
Reviews submitted on behalf of someone else
Reviews containing names of individual employees (use titles instead: "the recruiter," "the hiring manager")
Reviews containing confidential salary offers, proprietary processes, or trade secrets
Reviews intended to manipulate a company's score as part of a coordinated campaign
Reviews containing hate speech, threats, or discriminatory language
Reviews for companies where you are a current employee reviewing your own company's hiring
Authentication
"Authenticated" reviews are those where the reviewer confirmed their identity via email verification. This badge indicates the reviewer is a real person — it does not confirm that they interviewed at or applied to the company in question. We are exploring additional verification methods for future updates.
Reporting Reviews
Every review includes a "Report" flag. If you believe a review violates these guidelines, flag it and our moderation team will investigate within 48 hours. Both job seekers and employers can flag reviews.
